Aims

This course is designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public. It is applicable in any private or public sector environment.

Provides employees with understanding of health and safety principles and enables them to contribute to health and safety management systems.

Develops understanding of employers and employees’ responsibilities, hazards and risks, importance of procedures and rules and how individual actions can reduce risk.
