The P402 building survey and bulk sampling for asbestos course is carried out over 3 days The course consists of tutor led presentations, videos, course aids and accompanying notes. This course is designed to provide delegates with an appreciation and understanding of the practice of surveying structures for the presence of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs). The P402 Asbestos course will allow delegates to gain knowledge of the relevant health and safety topics surrounding the surveying and safe removal of asbestos.

The course would be suitable to all those who need a minimum qualification to prove competence in surveying for asbestos within buildings. It includes assessed course work and concludes with a formal BOHS short question paper

BOHS Proficiency module P405

P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings is a 4-day course and consists of PowerPoint presentations, videos and other course material. This course is designed to provide delegates with the practical knowledge and skill to be able to manage asbestos within buildings and to audit asbestos removal projects.

This course is designed for those who need a detailed awareness of problems presented by the presence of asbestos containing materials within buildings and those who need to manage asbestos safely. The course concludes with a formal BOHS Short Question Paper. Passing the Course Work and examination leads to a certificate and accreditation awarded by the BOHS.
